25/00949/SO Temporary Site Compound
Hi
Tom
Thank
you for consulting the GMEU.
I
am satisfied that the temporary construction compound can be scoped out from
any environmental assessment that may be required. The compound is
already in place and utilised for a previous scheme. Likely receptors
such as the Rochdale Canal SAC are sufficiently distant that there is not
likely effect that is not theoretical. Standard construction best
practice will remove any theoretical risk from pollution and dust.
It
will also reduce longer distant traffic along the M60/M62 that could have
theoretically resulted in air quality impacts upon Holcroft Moss, part of
Manchester Mosses SAC or South Pennines SPA/SAC.
