FORMER TONGE SOCIAL AND BOWLING CLUB REMEDIATION STRATEGY POST DEMOLITION The medium term proposals for the site after demolition is that we will develop the site for new housing. The clubhouse itself is not accessible to the public as it is securely fenced in on all sides. Once the building is removed there will be a low level to the site where the clubhouse stood, this area will be cleared and levelled, the area will remain fenced in and secure. Once the area is levelled off it will be seeded and left to grow to turf in readiness to be used as gardens for the proposed new devlopment. Lubek developments have recently completed the 8 houses on Baker Street to the north of the site and retain an interest in the site in respect of road adoption. The site is zoned residential and we do not anticipate any issues in respect of gaining planning. If for some reason planning was not secured then the site would remain clear and level and laid to lawn until an agreement was found for its usage. We are keen to demolish the building as it represents a risk to ourselves in terms of insurance and potential of squatters and arsonists.
